I’ve been quiet the last week or so. I have been knitting though.
I’ve decided to get a head start on Christmas presents this year, while also getting rid of as much of my stash as possible. To help me get through this, I am picking a movie series to watch a week and watching one movie a day. During this movie, I am working solely on Christmas knitting — mostly hats for right now. Here is this week’s movie viewing plus a hat that will be donated to charity this winter:
Along with this hat, I am working on another hat in bulky yarn and a pair of Maplewood mittens for one of my high school English teachers.
Both of which are extremely difficult to get pictures of.
Because I plan to spend the majority of July knitting Christmas presents for people who may or may not read this, I’m not sure how much posting will actually occur. Hopefully I can squeeze in an occasional non-holiday knit as well.
On a non-knitting note, I currently have out 8 applications for teacher positions — one being at my Dream School in this county — and could really use some prayers/good thoughts/good vibes sent my way that one will come through.

Thank you so much. It’s so stressful now that we are just a few weeks away from the school year starting. Trying to breathe though. Thank goodness for knitting!!

I’m trying to change schools myself and can definitely relate to the stress of “not knowing”. I think I’ll be getting a lot of knitting done in the next couple weeks!
