029 :: Dusting Off The Cobwebs

Uh…hi. Sorry for disappearing. I had not intentions of not updating. I just got really busy.

I spent a lot of time knitting for Christmas, finishing all projects two or three days before the deadline. Very proud of that. I’ll have to get my pictures together soon and update on those projects. I have been knitting since then, but most things are still on my needles. I’ve been busy with non-knitting things because…

I got a job!

I am now an early interventionist, working with toddlers and infants with special needs. And I am loving it so far. I’m still adjusting to the schedule; I went from constant free time to working a full time job. I’ve set my knitting aside but have a lot of things planned. This week alone, I have received 20-something things of yarn from Knit Picks earlier this week. A box full of yarn destined to become hats.

I also started grad school, which I am really excited about. I’ve been to all but one class; it was canceled due to weather but I’m sure it will be great, just like the others.

So, I’ve been pretty busy, as I’ve said numerous times. But I am trying to start knitting more again and will be making posts again soon. This will be easier now that I have internet at my home, which is something that I haven’t had in…3? 4 years? Something like that. It’s really nice to have.

So, expect some posts in the next few days! Got some lovelies to show you all!

  1. Congrats on your job and on starting grad school!! Way to go :)

  2. Congrats on the job! It’s always exhausting getting started, but it sounds like it’ll be worth it!

    • Thank you! I start doing my actual work this week; I’ve mostly just been helping around waiting for me to get students. I’m nervous about how this week will go but am incredibly excited!!

Also, thank you again for the package. I was so happy to win and was so surprise by everything in it!! The mittens are too cute and that is one of my favorite Bath and Body scents =]
