032 :: Finished Object Fridays

| 2 Comments

I have two hats I recently finished and shipped off today! Both are a simple slouchy featuring a garter stitch brim, which is currently my new thing. I’ve fallen in love with garter stitch again. I’ve dubbed this pattern Brevity after an online group I am a part of. Two of the three hats I made like this went to people in that group so it seems fitting.

I have a few more planned in different colors. I’m in love.

  1. Oh!!! Are you going to teach your kids how t make these hats too? So adorable. And I love the garter stitch brim.

    • I hadn’t really planned on it! But yes, that’s a great idea. They are really excited to do hats so that is what we will work on after spring break, which will give me enough time to get all the supplies. We’re going to start with a plain knit hat with a rolled brim then I’ll let them choose between this or a ribbing. Great idea. Thank you! =]
